    tubes are the most rugged tubes of this type available.  They are an improved version of the
    3-500ZG
    offered by
    RF Parts Company
    , from 1993 to 2019.  This newly revised version has had a failure rate of less than 0.05% during the three years that we have been testing, matching and selling them.
    This tube is a Heavy Duty Graphite Anode version of the original Eimac 3-500Z, and it has a stronger Anode stem-support to add to the tube's ruggedness and stability.  The Graphite Anode, Grid, and Filament are virtually the same as the Graphite version last offered by Eimac, and is interchangeable with this vastly improved transmit tube.  In addition, the the newly designed ceramic pin base diffuses heat from the filament pins and extends the life of the socket.
