    Description

    I have a Acom 1000 Amplifier for sale. It works excellent.. It does 160m-6m.. Which is very nice because if you enjoy the magic band this amp takes care of 6m and your HF Bands.. It is rated at 1kw but I ran it at 700 watts ish because it will extend the tube life longer and other hams on the other end of your signal won't even notice the difference. If you would like to run it at 1kw that's is what it is meant to do all day but like I said , I didn't see a point but if you choose to you can. This amp will do 12-1300 watts but I don't recommend it as it would degrade the tube fast.. What's nice is this amplifier uses a Gu74b tube. Which is basically the Russian version of the 4cx800. These tubes cost 0-0 on Ebay , which is much cheaper then a 3-500zg now a days.. It is very easy to tune as it has a tuning feature that allows you match up arrows to tune up with. Has a nice screen that tells you temperature, power out , power in , HV etc .. This really is a nice very compact amplifier that does it all.. Selling As-Is being used electronics but guaranteed to work as it should and as I explained. Thank You for looking at my ad and Happy Ebay'ing...
