Description
AD8307 is the first 8-pin (SOIC_N) package logarithmic amplifier. It is based on a progressive compression complete 500 MHz single-chip detection (successive detection) technique logarithmic amplifier at all frequencies up to 100 MHz and provides 92 dB (± 3 dB error) and 88 dB (± 1 dB error community) dynamic range. AD8307 is very stable and easy to use, without a lot of external devices. AD8307 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply, the power supply current of 7.5 mA, 3 V power voltage is only 22.5 mW. Fast CMOS compatible control pin can disable the AD8307, the standby current is less than 150 μA.
Each cascaded amplifier / limiter unit has 14.3 dB of small signal gain and the -3 dB bandwidth of 900 MHz.
