Smart Signal Generator is a wide-band and practical handheld simple RF signal source. It uses a computer host computer to display, integrates a high-performance frequency synthesizer and amplitude control unit (calibrated) to ensure high performance, small size, low power consumption and high Cost-effective.
Smart Signal Generator uses a standard USB 2.0 connector (TYPE-C) for device communication, which is suitable for use in different environments indoors, outdoors and even in the wild; because the device is light and small and has its own display, it is especially suitable for carrying.
The frequency range included in Smart Signal Generator is ADF4351 (37.5MHz-4.4GHz), the minimum frequency step is 1KHz; with amplitude adjustment function, the maximum output amplitude in the range of LF to 2.5GHz is +15dBm, and the maximum output amplitude in the range of 2.5GHz to 4.4GHz 5dBm (refer to actual measured value for details).

2) Power switch: next to the USB, turn the switch to the left to turn on, and turn to the right to turn off.
3) Press the "OK S3" key to start the sweep and stop the sweep
4) Press S1 to change the cursor position (move left)

Press S2 to change the data at the cursor position
Press S4 to change the data of the cursor position
After entering the system, the cursor indicates the selected digit. At this time, press the up and down keys to modify the value of the selected digit. When the cursor is at the last (or first) digit of the selected item, press the right (or left) button to switch the selected item. After setting the parameters, press the middle confirm key to make the setting effective.
OLED operations are realized through 5 buttons. The left/right buttons are used to move the cursor. When a certain digit is reversed, the plus/minus buttons can be adjusted to modify the current position. After pressing the OK button, the data is updated, and Store in EEPROM
3. Instructions for PC software operation:
1) First connect the hardware and then turn on the host computer, set the baud rate to 115200, and find the corresponding serial port.
Query method of serial port number: Right-click on "My Computer" and select Manage. Open the computer management, open the device manager, click "Port (COM and LPT)", you can view the port number.

Software interface diagram: Open the "RF signal source control software" software, and the host computer interface will pop up. Note: "static.ini" is not a virus file, but is used to save the values ​​set by the host computer. It needs to be combined with the "RF signal source control software" file Put it in the same folder.
2) The host computer interface is shown in the figure below. You can set the start frequency, stop frequency, sweep step, step time, power setting, set all parameters with one key, run sweep, and stop sweep. Note: When the start frequency is the same as the stop frequency, it is the dot frequency output, or the sweep is stopped, the output dot frequency signal frequency is the start frequency value.
