Adl5350 is a high linearity, up / down conversion mixer, which can work in a wide input frequency range. It is very suitable for the mixer design of cellular base station which requires high sensitivity and high immunity. Based on GaAs PHEMT and single ended mixer architecture, this device can provide excellent input linearity and low noise figure without high power local oscillator (LO) drive. In 850 MHz / 900 MHz receiving applications, the typical conversion loss of adl5350 is only 6.8 dB. The integrated Lo amplifier only needs a low Lo drive level, and the typical value is only 4 DBM for most applications. The typical value of input IP3 is more than 25 DBM, and the input compression point is 19 DBM. The device has high input linearity, so it is an excellent mixer for GSM 850 / 900 and 800 MHz CDMA2000 communication systems. At 2 GHz, a slightly higher supply current is required to achieve similar performance. With the help of a single ended broadband RF / if port, the device can be customized for the required operating frequency band using a simple external filter network. Lo to RF isolation is based on Lo suppression of RF port filter network. Greater isolation can be achieved by using higher order filter networks, as detailed in the application information section of this data book.
