Description
This is a winged emblem 30S-1 serial #337. It is in very good condition. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say its a 9 or 9.5. I did clean the outside a bit. There are no dings but there is a smudge on top. Inside it is fairly clean. I am selling As-Is with no returns do to weight and age.
The 4CX1000A tube was pulled and sent to Richardson Electronics where they concluded it test like new. I will include the test report. These are robust amps if taken care of. It also appears to have newer blower fan mounts. I did not run it to full about but I did test it and here are some results: at 3.8MHz with w4 watts drive it put out 1200 + watts, at 14.250 MHz with 55 watts drive it put out 1100 watts, on 28.4 MHz with 65 watts drive it put out 800 watts. I didn't want to overdrive it but I'm sure with 100 watts it will put out more. It will come with the manual. This unit has been well taken care of. I'm sure you'll be happy.
