Farmall IH International Char Lynn power steering end cap assembly # 374898r92

Description

One, USED, complete, original, power steering hand pump, control end cap assembly for Farmall 240, 340, 404, 504, 2504 or International Harvester tractors 240 if you have the TWO port power IH steering unit (torque generator) that was supplied by Char Lynn. This end cap assembly is a "used take off" that is in excellent condition. It comes complete with ALL NEW bearing races, stainless steel ball bearings, and base O-ring as shown in the parts manual. The original R92 top seal is still "staked" in place from the factory and was not leaking when the end cap was removed from a used assembly being rebuilt and upgraded. This complete assembly is ready to mount on your unit. The new race is already pressed in to the old aluminum cap.
This end cap fits the hydraulic power steering unit (torque generator)  373069r91, 373069r92 and is the end right under the steering wheel that you see sticking up through the dash. This is the aluminum end cap that you are likely to break when you are changing out a rusted on steering wheel. I do supply this same end cap kit in an all new version but, this take off is in excellent condition so I will offer it at a discount from the one listed with all new parts.
All you need to do on this unit is take your old control end cap assembly off. Put this cap on using the new stainless ball bearings that are also furnished. It is just that easy. All the pre-assembly work has been done and all parts match Char Lynn Specs in exact detail. This end cap will NOT fit the 4 port PS unit on these same models. Check your parts manual if you have questions or concerns. This is a great new item and is ready to go back on your failed unit. IH part number for this complete assembly is 374898r92.
