    Description

    ITT/Jennings UCSL-500-5S Vacuum Variable Capacitor removed from new equipment.
    A universal shaft coupler (for 1/4" shafts) is attached and included. This is an expensive freebie.
    The cap is rated at 5 kV and 40 Amps r.m.s., and varies from 5 pF to 500 pF in about 21 turns of the shaft.
    These are ratings and performance you can't get in an air variable. That's what makes this a great choice for a high power antenna coupler (ATU) or for the tuned circuit or matching network in a power amplifier.
    Vacuum variables are great at HF and way higher too.
