    Description

    These unusual wooden buttons are shaped like sombrero hats. A 3/8inch column about 1/8 inch high protrudes from the bottom of the button, and there is a hole through it for sewing on the button. Holes on opposite sides of the "brim allowed for  a strand of variegated yarn to be pulled through them and tied underneath, forming a colorful "hat band" and "chin strap" for the "hat". The button is a little over 1 inch high and a little over an inch wide. The yarn is lightly soiled and frayed.
