6. Some tips for using this amplifier:
1) The amplifier has very good gain flatness when the operating frequency is less than 500MHz, and the adjustment can be less than 1dB. The lower the frequency, the higher the gain consistency.
2) The lower limit of the operating frequency of the amplifier is subject to the input and output capacitance. The default is 0.1uF, which can work up to 0.1MHz. The input and output capacitors can be appropriately increased to extend the lower frequency limit. For example, when 10uF, it can work up to 5KHz. For detailed calculations, note that the input and output impedance is 50 ohms, calculate the required capacitance value, and enhance the decoupling and regulation of the power supply.
3) When the supply voltage is changed at 5-8V, it can be used as a variable gain amplifier, and the gain increases as the supply voltage increases. Ideal for RF receiving front-end circuits, the DA is used to control the supply voltage to control the gain of the amplifier for automatic gain control.
4) When the supply voltage is 8-10V, the gain of the low frequency end reaches 30dB. At this time, the amplifier has a low noise figure and good stability.
5) When the voltage is 12V, the gain reaches the maximum value, and the low-end gain can reach 32.5dB.
