Description
Low pass filter (LPF) PCB assembly with built-in FWD/REF output power detector for amplifier protection and an ALC output. (Fully assembled; not a kit.)A mature design and implementation with no known issues. Several have been sold.
For use with BLF188, MRFX1K …, ART1K6 …,
4x VRF2933, 4x SD2933, etc., push-pull solid state amplifiers.
Photos 2 and 3 are the actual assembled and tested unit you will receive.
This PCB assembly consists of 6 selectable filters covering 1.8MHz to 54MHz.
Each filter is a 7-Pole Chebyshev filter, (W6PQL Revision 6 version).
Selection of one of the six LPFs is by grounding one of the five filter selection lines or leaving them all ungrounded for 160 meters.
The board requires 12V DC to switch the relays.
Required DC power is +12VDC nominal, 10 volt (minimum) to 16 volt maximum.
