PALOMAR 300A REBUILT AND WORKING PERFECTLY!!! 40, 20, 15, 10 & 11 METER BANDS

Offered here another amplifier from my personal collection that is rebuilt and working as designed. It's a PALOMAR 300A that is capable of 40, 20, 15, 10 & 11 meter bands. Select 10 meter band for 11 meters it has a very wide tuning capability.
I have completely rebuilt this amplifier and it is working as designed. Does it show a little age it does but as to its operation its working perfectly. Cosmetically I rate it a 9 out of a 10. Tubes are new and are performing at their peak capacity. I made the side extensions for allowing the taller tubes to be used without modifying the case. Simply remove the extension side rails if you use the shorter tubes and the case fits perfectly as it was shipped from the factory. Being offered as is no warranty no returns because of its age and the nature of the device. It will arrive safely as it will be packaged in two separate boxes. One for the heavy transformer the other box will contain the amplifier in order to arrive safely. Please ask questions before bidding or buying all sales are final. This amplifier is not intended for 11 meter use as it is illegal to use on that band, that is my disclaimer. Checkout my feedback I don't sell junk this works as it is intended too and is an old classic. The manual says 10 watts max for all bands any more will destroy the tubes. This unit functions on AM, SSB, FM & CW. I fired it up and the unit is purring like a kitten it runs super quite no hum from the transformer. It had full power output which was just at 400 watts average on 10 meters with 4 watt drive. This is close to a museum quality and works perfectly as designed. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer unit that is fully functioning. Again being sold as is for parts no returns. You just can't warranty these amplifiers. Please ensure you know how to operate it correctly the output this unit puts out can KILL!! you. A copy of the original manual comes with the unit not the original manual.
