    Recapped Filter Capacitor Board for the Ten Tec Titan 425 HF Linear Amplifier.
    I ordered and replaced the filter capacitors (using fresh Mallory capacitors, exact replacements for the originals) on this board because the amplifier showed severe fuse blowing. Since there is no easy way to Variac a supply/amp like this, I decided to "Ernie" it, replacing the caps and diodes in the supply and having the tubes tested at Richardson (tubes are long gone).
    I also replaced the capacitors and the 1N5401 B- protection diode. I used the correct diode because this circuit depends on this diode shorting out if B- exceeds +100 volts, which can easily happen if there is a short in the B+ line.
    After consultations with others, I was able to determine that the power transformer in the supply was bad, with a replacement cost over 0 so I decided to make its parts available to those who might have a supply that needs filter capacitor replacement.
