    Description

    The B&W Model 800 RF chokes are the ideal choice for KW level RF amplifiers operating between 2 and 30  MHz. They are specified in numerous construction articles in ham magazines and handbooks.
    The coils are wound on a white steatite ceramic form. Each end is tapped for 1/4-20 screws. One screw and washer is included, as they are typically mounted vertically on a chassis. The unit is 6 inches long and 3/4 inch in diameter.
    These were removed from unused Scientific Radio Systems SR-110 KW Linear Amplifiers that were surplus and not sold.
    The low frequency inductance is nominally 100 microhenries. I measured them as 93 to 94 uHy.
