    Description

    This is a Sideband Engineers SB2-LA Linear Amplifier. SBE rates it as 1000 watts peak input. It puts out about 750 W PEP on 80 trough 15 meters. The unit was modified for low voltage keying, so that it works directly with modern solid state transceivers. The input network was also modified to reduce the input SWR to below 2:1 on all bands. Drive is under 100 watts for full output. The unit has a good set of tubes and is in good operating condition. It also was modified to provide remote plate current monitoring as the built in meters are very small. It runs on 120VAC 15A line. I have moved up to a SB-220 amplifier, so this unit is now surplus to my needs.
