Siesta Ware Story Book Forest vintage souvenir mug, Ligonier PA

Description

This is an original vintage Siesta Ware glass & ceramic mug with a wooden handle and metal "strap" accents, made as a souvenir of Story Book Forest in Ligonier PA before its incorporation into Idlewild Park in the 1980s. The mug measures 5" tall and just over 3" wide at its widest point, with a diameter of 2 5/8" at the top and bottom rims. Graphics of various attractions in Story Book Forest adorn the outside of the mug. Embossed on the bottom are the Siesta Ware script logo and "Made in USA."
Overall, this mug is in good condition, with the only post-production flaw being a small amount of white paint on the bottom rim, shown in my final photo. Minuscule imperfections inherent to the production process are present, including some bumps from minute particles trapped in the glaze and tiny pinpoint-sized "fleabite" depressions in the glaze.
