    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage, original, "Ski Shawnee", ski pin. This resort opened in 1975 and still thrives today! The ski hill as an amenity popped up in the 1970s, mostly in communities developed by Karl Hope, the same man who developed Shawnee Mountain Ski Area with the help of 1968 Winter Olympic alpine ski champion Jean-Claude Killy.
